Ambassador Review: The Fireball Jacket with Katy Parrott

I recently took the Fireball on a micro-adventure in the Wye Valley. It's such a versatile jacket so I used it as both an outer layer and a mid layer.

After a day on the water, it was the perfect insulation to keep me warm at basecamp. The outer water resistant fabric performed very well in light rain and drizzle but any heavier and you'd want to throw a goretex over the top.

I'm always a big fan of the additional chest pocket to help keep certain items separate and accessible.

Every time I put it on, I'm amazed by how lightweight it is for its level of durability. It genuinely feels like I'm being hugged by a cloud but protected from the elements at the same time. The fact that it's made from 55% recycled material is an extra bonus.

It compresses down pretty tiny so if you are short on space, the Fireball is the ideal jack of all trades jacket for autumn and winter adventures.
