Montane X Outside - Get Ready to Rock

We teamed up with Outside in Hathersage for 'Ready to Rock', a community day designed to help climbers make the transition from indoor climbing to outdoor trad.

Led by Montane athlete Becky Coles, participants spent the day at the iconic Lawrencefield Crag in the Peak District, learning the fundamentals of trad climbing, building confidence on gritstone, and developing the skills needed to start their outdoor climbing journey safely and independently.

From placing gear and building anchors to understanding the unique challenges of climbing outside, the day was all about sharing knowledge, growing confidence, and connecting with the climbing community.
