Lightweight protection is provided by 20D Pertex Quantum Pro which delivers both windproof protection and water resistance. 750 Fill Power HyperDRY™ down performance is maximised by box wall constructed baffles throughout, ensuring maximum loft and thermal efficiency. Especially engineered with an expedition fit, this mens down jacket has been designed with technical layering systems in mind and is fit for purpose. A fully adjustable, expedition style hood also ensures full protection from the harshest winter elements. HyperDRY™ Water Resistant Down

ALLIED’s HyperDRY™ Water Resistant Down allows the Anti-Freeze XPD to provide extreme performance in unpredictable conditions. Regular untreated down can wet-out and struggle to retain warmth when wet, HyperDRY™ down is incredibly hydrophobic, helping prevent the down structure from collapsing due to absorbing water. This allows the down to retain its loft and warmth for longer when damp, while also allowing it to dry much quicker.

The treatment of the down works in the same way as traditional DWR’s while being developed to be as sustainable as possible. HyperDRY™ is entirely fluorocarbon-free and has been designed to utilise less water and chemical processing compared to traditional treatments.

Enhanced weather resistance for extreme conditions

Pertex® Quantum Pro technology uses an ultra thin water resistant coating to deliver a very high level of water resistance, whilst remaining lightweight, soft and breathable. Combined with a durable construction means the Anti Freeze XPD down jacket maximises thermal efficiency and is ideal for use in cold or damp environments.

    Impressive!

    Just got my jacket the day and quite pleased. Toasty and comfy. Proper insulation generates warmth almost right away. Good fit, I’m 6’2 and 225 lbs and the Large fit me perfectly with room to add layers, without being too bulky or looking oversized.

    As soon as I put the down on I could feel the warmth generated immediately.This is a warm jacket.Plenty of storage room in the pockets. The zips are good,not catching on the down material,the zips move with ease

    Impressed with this jacket,this is my 3rd down purchase from Montane
