The Montane Men's Minimus Lite Waterproof Jacket is a super breathable waterproof layer that's perfect for running and endurance mountain days. Featuring a 20 Denier PERTEX® SHIELD fabric with a fully seam-taped construction, this jacket offers lightweight and packable protection when you need it most. A minimalist feature set helps to keep the weight down, and added stretch allows for an active, close fit. Runners seeking lightweight, durable protection will not be disappointed with this reliable waterproof jacket.

PERTEX® SHIELD. Lightweight, Stretch Performance.

Lightweight, stretchy and highly breathable, PERTEX® SHIELD in the Minimus Lite Jacket provides waterproof and windproof protection in a 2.5 layer construction. Comfortable to wear, very soft to the touch and extremely stretchy, the fabric moves with you and allows for unrestricted dynamic movement when trail running or fastpacking. The fabric is constructed using highly abrasion resistant nylon ripstop, incorporating reinforcement yarns to provide durable resistance to tearing.

BREATHABLE. Moisture Management.

The fabric is incredibly breathable, providing excellent moisture management when working hard, helping you stay comfortable when moving fast. Being totally windproof keeps out the cold air and helps your insulating layers retain their heat for longer, perfect for on the move or when you stop to rest. A durable water repellent (DWR) finish allows the fabric to shed light rain and snow.

    Solid first outing

    20km plus run today in dry but cold conditions with a merino longsleeve base layer underneath, no vest or pack. The jacket performed really well, very comfortable overall with decent breathability. It’ll be getting a lot of use over the few months!

    Great for fast paced Adventures

    Purchased for Summertime conditions in Scotland. Great alternative to Gortex on warmer/humid days and is very packable/lightweight. Holds up well in wet conditions too!
