The Montane Men’s Protium Hooded Fleece Jacket showcases recycled zip technology, with YKK’s NATULON® VISLON® full-length, and pocket zips. These zips are made from mechanically recycled plastic from PET bottles and other sources, to give single-use plastics another life, and reduce weight compared to metal zips, without compromising performance.

THERMO GRID FLEECE. Lightweight Warmth.

When you want warmth that doesn’t weigh you down, the key is intelligent design. The THERMO GRID FLEECE has a brushed back and gridded format, which both trap more warm air close to the body without having to increase the depth of the fabric. The fleece also works to draw moisture and excess heat away from the body and out into the air, for advanced breathability.

Great fleece
Having worn out my older Protium fleece after many, many miles of arduous travel - I finally had to replace with the new version. For me, the face fabric is a lot smoother than the old which is great, plus the removal of the Napoleon pocket to be replaced by the hip pockets are great. They do not get in the way of my packs nor harnesses too.
I love the grey colour also - goes great with the rest of my Montane gear.
Great stuff (prompt delivery as always from Montane an 100% recyclable packaging to boot)
