This mountain-durable backpack adapts to your adventure and is made with recycled materials.

The Montane Trailblazer® 25L Backpack has been built for durability with a reinforced base, and lightweight features to stabilise the load, even when you’re moving fast. This backpack has been built with recycled materials including the RAPTOR CROSS LITE 70D Nylon outer, which has been coated with a PFC-DWR to keep your equipment dry. Mapped to your body and combining performance with comfort, the Trailblazer® 25L has a 3d-moulded foam back panel, COVALENT harness and compression adjustments to secure your essentials.

The new Montane T-Hook system allows you to reconfigure the external storage and optimise it for your current adventure. Other easy-to-access storage options include pockets with locking zips. The Montane Trailblazer® 25L Backpack will back up your moves in the mountains, whether you’re fastpacking or hiking to new summits.

RAPTOR CROSS LITE 70D. 100% Recycled.

The RAPTOR CROSS LITE 70D Nylon outer fabric is 100% recycled and features durable Ripstop. It keeps your equipment dry by using a UTS Polyurethane Composite coating in combination with a PFC-Free DWR coating. The fabric strikes an ideal balance between abrasion resistance and being lightweight enough for fast and light missions.

MONTANE T-HOOK. Modular Adaptable Design.

The Montane T-Hook system is a custom design that allows fixing points to be relocated on the pack, and is now seen across the Trailblazer range. The T-Hooks are secured through laser-cut holes to either side of the front panel and have been tested in the mountains to provide maximum adaptability with the minimum weight.

    Great Day walk backpack

    I bought the 25L trailblazer to wear on my day hikes. I carry waterproofs in it, spare socks, trousers, dart shirt, and a protium jacket as well as packed lunch. Wallet, car keys go in the lid internal pocket.

    In the two side pouches I carry a Flask or bottle each side. The 2 side strap pockets I usually cram with on the go snacks such as apples and nut bars etc. When I get hot I can cram in my thick fleece into the sack as well with ease.

    It's a very comfortable back pack which you can adjust to wear high or low on your back, tight or hanging off your back. The choice is yours and its easy to adjust as you stroll along.

    The draw string arrangement on the knapsack is excellent. So easy to draw super tight or loosen to its full stretch with minimal effort (none).

    The front chest straps are height adjustable so you get the placement you want. Once adjusted you don't get all those straps flapping about as you walk

    A great day back pack comfortable and practical. If you want to carry a tent, spare boots etc for longer treks I'd go for a larger capacity.

    Great design for those day hikes.

    My favourite bag!

    A lot of features packed into a lightweight bag. Great size for day walks and multi-day hut-to-hut trips if you can pack light. I used mine for the AV1 and it was perfect. I love the shoulder straps, which make the bag sit really comfortably and the fit can be fine-tuned to the weight you’re carrying with the adjustable back panel and hip belt. Strap pocket are great to use, not stiff but hold items securely.

    Mixed bag

    Good light weight rucksack let down by a few issues. The back panel in rather firm and becomes a bit uncomfortable on a longer walk. Also I tend to get sweaty. The inside lid pocket zip is short and makes it difficult to get items in or out. The one feature that I really like are the pockets in the straps. The wand pockets ar OK, but if used you have to be careful to make sure they are completely zipped up, otherwise thing could fall out.
